Comment: I truly enjoy visiting the market as you just never know what you'll find. Love the fact that it is outdoors even though mother nature doesn't always cooperate! Comment: Do the farmers stop growing vegetables in August?? Why can't the market be open during September? We sincerely WANT to buy local produce, and come to the market all summer, but it seems crazy that we can only buy local produce for a couple of months each year! Even in New York City, the greenmarkets are year-round, and both farmers and customers benefit. |
